MAI TAI COCKTAIL

The Mai Tai is a cocktail based on rum, Curaçao liqueur, orgeat (almond) syrup (but we've gone with Amaretto syrup), and lime juice. It is one of the quintessential Tiki cocktails.

What you'll need

Ingredients

  • 25ml Dark Matter Spiced Rum
  • 25ml One Love Coconut & Pineapple Rum
  • 1 teaspoon Monin Orgeat Syrup
  • 50ml Orange Juice
  • 50ml Pineapple Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Bols Blue Curaçao
  • Pineapple wedge and Maraschino Cherry, for garnish

How to make it

  • Mix the dark and light rum, Amaretto syrup, and orange and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker with ice cubes or crushed ice.
  • Pour into a glass.
  • Float Blue Curaçao on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
  • Garnish with the pineapple wedge and cherry.
