This returns and refunds policy explains your rights and our obligations when you place an order with 8 Barrels Club. Please read this page carefully before ordering, as alcohol purchases are subject to specific legal and hygiene restrictions.
This policy applies to all customers who purchase goods from 8 Barrels Club Ltd through our website.
Where applicable, this policy complies with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations and other relevant consumer protection laws.
If you are a UK or EU customer, you have the right to cancel an eligible order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
However, this right is subject to the conditions set out below.

Due to the nature of alcohol products:
Alcohol must remain unopened and sealed
We cannot accept returns for opened bottles
We cannot accept returns where seals have been broken
This restriction exists for hygiene, safety, and legal reasons and applies to all alcohol products.
If you place an order for delivery outside the UK, you are responsible for ensuring that alcohol importation is legal at your destination.
Please note:
Customs authorities may refuse, delay, seize, or destroy alcohol shipments
Import duties, taxes, and clearance fees are the customer’s responsibility
❗ If an order is refused, seized, delayed, or destroyed by customs or local authorities, we cannot issue a refund, including shipping costs.
By placing an international order, you accept this risk.
If your order is eligible for return, you must:
Contact us within 14 days of delivery
Return the goods unused, unopened, and in original packaging
Package items securely to prevent damage
You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the goods are faulty.
Once we receive and inspect the returned goods, we will process your refund within 14 days.
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
We do not charge any administration fees for refunds.
We do not issue refunds for:
Opened or partially consumed alcohol
Orders refused due to failed age verification
Orders seized, refused, or destroyed by customs
Damage caused after delivery
Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer
Courier partners may require valid photographic ID on delivery.
If delivery fails due to:
Inability to verify age
Refusal to present ID
The order will be treated as refused, and no refund will be issued.
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible and provide clear photographs.
Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund in line with your statutory rights.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
